German Member of Parliament Peter Beyer spoke about the meeting he had today in the morning with the President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci. After Beyer presented the German position that change of territories, or exchange is an idea of a high risk, Thaci said: “I am the President of this country, I decide.”
German MP said the Parliament of Kosovo is the main institution that must decide on such matters. According to him, normalization of relations requires sustainable solution. Beyer made these comments during a meeting with journalists.
