In a Facebook post, head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) parliamentary group Avdullah Hoti said that the proposal of President Hashim Thaci on ‘border correction’ with Serbia has damaged over two-decade long efforts for building a country where citizens of all communities would feel safe and confident of their future. “A great deal of time and energy will be required to restore the trust of all Kosovo citizens that there will be no border changes, no partition of Kosovo and that their future in Kosovo is safe,” Hoti wrote.
