Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs State Secretary Dijana Hrkalovic underlined during the meetings with Spanish, Indonesian and Indian ambassadors that eventual decision to admit Kosovo in Interpol “would constitute a precedent and politicization of this police international organization,” FoNet news agency reported.

Ambassador of Indonesia, Harry Kandou noted that his country respects and supports the integrity and sovereignty of states in line with the UN Charter and international law. The Ambassador of Spain, Miguel Fuertes emphasised that Spain “would remain at its stance from the previous General Assembly session in Beijing” when Kosovo withdrew its request. Ambassador of India, Subrata Bhattacharjee said that India “respects international law” and would harmonize its stance in line with that.
