Police Director for the Gnjilane region, Emina Mahmuti, told RTV Puls that the Kosovo Police introduced twelve-hour working hours and reinforced the activities of securing cultural, religious and historical facilities.
In the following period, the police will secure the Novo Brdo fortress, the Church in the center of Gjilan, some mosques and other important facilities. The increased police activity is being carried out to combat crime more efficiently, after the frequent theft of large cattle and motor vehicles in the Gnjilane region.
