The Kosovo-based Council for Defence of Human Rights and Freedoms (CDHRF) has reacted the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini saying her request to Kosovo government to revoke tax on imports from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina is ‘immoral’. CDHRF said Mogherini’s ‘ultimatum’ is in violation to human rights and fundamental values of democracy. “Kosovo institutions should not give in to this immoral ultimatum but should see these measures against Serbia through and apply reciprocity 100 percent,” the organisation said in a statement adding: “Kosovo wants nothing more than to be treated alike all countries in the region.”
