Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj met today NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General Jonathan Parish. According to a press release issued by the government of Kosovo after the meeting, Haradinaj briefed Parish on the overall security situation and the commitment of the government to Euro-Atlantic integration. Haradinaj at the same time thanked NATO and its troops for support to Kosovo and stressed the importance of KFOR’s continued presence. Haradinaj also spoke about the Kosovo Security Force which he said is professional and multiethnic and will in the future serve as reliable ally. NATO official on his part is reported to have said that KFOR will continue to contribute to strengthening of security and stability in Kosovo.
