Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said today that he received notification of Madagascar revoking recognition of Kosovo’s independence. However, officials at the Kosovo’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs called Dacic’s statement ‘propaganda’ and ‘fake news’. Fatmir Haxholli, advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Minister Behgjet Pacolli happens to be visiting Madagascar today as part of his tour several African countries in an effort “to manage misuses of connections and officials by Belgrade.”
