The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has announced it will vote in favour of Kosovo Security Force’s transformation into a Kosovo army during Friday’s vote at the Assembly. Head of LDK parliamentary group, Avdullah Hoti, said the pro-vote is in line with the party’s general council decision and that Kosovo deserved to have its own armed forces. “We are thankful to the U.S. and other international partners for their support,” Hoti said and noted that Kosovo army will be in the service of all communities and will contribute to the strengthening of peace and security in the Balkans and elsewhere in the world.
