Letter of Donald Trump sent to Hashim Thaci unequivocally shows there is a secret diplomacy held behind the scenes, leading towards resolution of the Kosovo issue, BETA news agency reports.
These remarks were made by the leader of Peoples’ Party Vuk Jeremic.
“If anyone had any dilemma whether it is true that things behind the scenes are being hastily brought to an end, this letter casts all doubts away,” Jeremic wrote on Twitter.
He recalled that several times he presented the information about secret meetings between Serbian and Kosovo presidents, Aleksandar Vucic and Hashim Thaci in Paris, New York and Rome, as well as that he spoke about the role of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in lobbying for a concept of delineation.
Jeremic also said neither Vucic nor Thaci refuted his claims on secret meetings and the two of them have agreed that Thaci mentions Jeremic during the last UN SC session on Kosovo as an act of retaliation.
Speaking about the establishment of Kosovo army at the UN SC session on Monday, Hashim Thaci, inter alia, said “that decision of the International Court of Justice, as per request of the-then Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic, underlined crystal clear that the declaration of Kosovo independence did not violate international law. Therefore, in accordance with that, it is Kosovo’s undeniable right to have its army.”
