Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic leads a devastating Kosovo policy and spreads defeatism which is devastating for the Serb people in Kosovo and aims to prepare a “Serbian recognition of an independent Kosovo,” reads the statement of Launchers of the Appeal for the Defense of Kosovo and Metohija, quotes Belgrade based daily Danas.
The statement says that President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, with his latest statements, says that with the opposition in Serbia “has no compromise” while announces a compromise with “criminals who are seizing Serbian territory,” reports Belgrade based daily Danas.
“Moreover, this ‘compromise’ that is hidden for at least a year and a half means: returning a small fragment of the occupied KiM to Serbia, with the surrender of additional parts of Serbia to Albanian chauvinists, for the sake of the Serbian recognition of an ‘independent Kosovo’ that would immediately enter the Greater Albania,” says the statement of Launchers of the Appeal.
Over the last year, the Appeal has been signed by more than 25 thousand people, among which are seven academics of Serbian Academy of Sciences (SANU), 11 SPC bishops, more than 60 professors of the University, over a hundred Doctors of Science.
The statement says that all this would be presented as a victory, and in the future, “capitulation would be called a compromise, and defeat – a victory.”
“Frozen conflict is not a matter of possibility or impossibility, but reality, since the agreement has not been reached for 20 years. Vucic’s anger is a consequence of the public’s demand that he finally announces, to unambiguously declare what he wants to do in KiM,” assess Launchers of the Appeal.
According to the statement, even Vucic’s black scenario of the 80 Albanian MPs in the Serbian Assembly is in line with reality, but according to the Launchers, “is unlikely”, because how the Serbian president knows that “Thaci and Haradinj will lead forever.”
“Probably he starts from his way of thinking that there must be no compromise with Serbian politicians, but that there must be with Hashim, Ramush and the other ‘respectable gentlemen’ who still carry the blood of Serb children, women, soldiers and police officers on their hands,” state the Initiators of the Appeal.
“It turned out that Kosovo and Metohija Albanians have their uncompromising spokesman on Andrić’s wreath. This must be stopped now,” the statement concludes.
The Political Council of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) launched last year at this time the Appeal for the Defense of Kosovo and Metohija, as they stated, as the response of the public to “ambiguous and disturbing messages coming from the highest circles of power about Kosovo.”
