With President Hashim Thaci advocating a “border correction” with Serbia in a quest to find the long-sought agreement with its northern foe, Serbia – and with his own Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, fiercely opposing that idea – foreign diplomats may have wondered which of the country’s two most powerful politicians they should call in Kosovo.
Political analyst Artan Muhaxhiri says President Thaci personalised the representation of Kosovo in the EU-led dialogue with Serbia in recent years with the backing of the EU and other important stakeholders.
