Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli called all Kosovo political leaders for an urgent meeting with the officials of the U.S. Pacolli said this meeting should happen in order to coordinate actions that would be in interest of friendship with western allies.
Mentioning the two recent letters to Kosovo leaders, one from the U.S. President Donald Trump and the other from the seniors of the key U.S. institutions, Pacolli says this involvement which shows their will for “our strengthening, integration, recognition by Serbia, is a blessing for us.”
On the other hand, he continues, we are not the center of the world and we will never be, therefore we should highly appreciate this positioning of the U.S. in our side. “We, all our institutions, should speak in one voice, as requested by President Trump. These letters within such a short period of time, their messages coordinated with each other, are a chance for us to become stronger together, not to divide!
Therefore, I invite you for a joint, urgent meeting of all Kosovo political leaders with our U.S. and Western friends in order to coordinate our actions, no matter what they are, but which are in interest of friendship with our western allies and our national interest. Time is running out, this is the momentum of great decisions,” Pacolli wrote.
