Results of a research conducted by Mitrovica-based non-governmental organization Local Initiative-LINK indicate that young people on the both sides of the Ibar River are not content with the quality of life, transparency in the work of the local self-governance and almost half of the respondents expressed a wish to leave Kosovo, Radio kontakt plus reported.

The research is based on 400 questionnaires, 4 focus groups, 2 debates and 4 interviews.

LINK Executive Director Marko Rakic said the research is part of the project “Advancement of Local Policies for Youth Entrepreneurship thought Participation” and the aim of the LINK organization is to improve the quality of life in Mitrovica through youth education.
