Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, has ordered today to stop the construction of a hydropower plant in the Lumbardh river in the Western part of Kosovo, the news website reports. Following a mass protest by citizens in Peja and legitimate concerns raised by residents of the Rugova region about the hydropower plant project, Haradinaj said he has asked the respective Ministry to stop all further procedures. Haradinaj said projects that are not in the interest of residents of the Rugova region will never pass.
