The President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci met today Ilir Bytyci, brother of the three murdered brothers, U.S. citizens and members of “Atlantiku” battalion during the war.
He said he has raised the matter of the Bytyci brothers in many meetings with international representatives. “Recently, we have discussed this issue also with U.S. senators and congressmen who did a great job by increasing pressure on Serbian state. Killers of Bytyci brothers are known by name and last name and they are positioned in the most senior institutions of the Serbian state,” Thaci said.
Ilir Bytyci expressed appreciation to President Thaci for his engagement in the matter and stressed that raising the issue by Kosovo institutions increases pressure on Serbia.
Thaci expressed once again commitment of Kosovo institutions to shed light on Bytyci case and to bring criminals in front of justice.
