“This Friday was one of the most terrible and shocking days of my life,” said Lendita Morina, whose father was reburied in the village of Ljubenic at the end of last week.

Lendita Morina is the daughter of Riza Morina, who died in Ljubenic on April 1, 1999, when Serbian forces, led by the Yugoslav Army, surrounded the area, entered the village, killed at least 65 Kosovo Albanians and expelled the other inhabitants.

Riza Morina was one of ten people whose body parts were recovered by Kosovo’s Institute of Forensic Medicine and reburied last Friday.
