Kurti: We could head to new elections in September or October (Telegrafi)

Vetevendosje Movement, although the third largest party and known for its firm stances particularly about relations between Kosovo and Serbia, seems to have the decision on whether to send Kosovo to new elections or not in its hands.

“We are always ready for elections now that we have not won yet but even when we win because we think it is too rare to once in four years have elections in a Kosovo which is swarming with all sort of problems”, Kurti said in an interview for Albanian public broadcaster, TVSH.

“It is therefore very likely to have new elections in September or October and Vetevendosje Movement will enter these stronger than ever before. At the same time, I can say that during this period we have worked with the LDK, AAK, NISMA coalition which it seems will run together. So we will have three poles in next election”, said Kurti.
