The current General of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Rrahman Rama, will be the future commander of the of KSF. He is expected to take over his mandate on 15 March. Minister of Kosovo Security Force, Haki Demolli, said that the change is happening because the current KSF Commander, Kadri Kastrati, will retire on 15 March. According to Demolli, Rama fulfills all the criteria to lead KSF.

The government has endorsed the request of Minister Demolli, proposing to the President to nominate Rama.
