Kosovo Police has information that ISIS has ordered terror attacks in Pristina (Lajmi)
Kosovo’s security institutions have received information that people close to Lavdrim Muhaxheri, the leader of Albanians fighting for ISIS, have ordered their people in Kosovo and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia to carry out terror attacks in Pristina and Skopje. The news site claims to possess the communication between top security officials in Kosovo ordering the Kosovo Police to undertake all necessary measures to respond to such threats. According to this communication, an Albanian from FYROM (his identity is known to the police and to the news site) who is currently in the fighting zone in Syria and Iraq and is very close with Lavdrim Muhaxheri, has contacted his trusted people over possible attacks in Kosovo and FYROM in June. Kosovo’s security institutions currently do not know the identities of persons contacted by Muhaxheri’s associate, but believe they have previous experience in Jihad. Muhaxheri’s associate has reportedly told his men in Kosovo and FYROM that during their terror attacks in Pristina and Skopje they should inflict as much material damage and human casualties as possible, regardless of religious backgrounds. It was also said that attacks should not be limited only in Pristina and Skopje. Kosovo Police reportedly knows the targets planned by the jihadists. This threat comes several days after some jihadists from the Balkans, including Albanians, who are fighting in Syria and Iraq, broadcast a video threatening to launch attacks in Kosovo, FYROM, Albania, Serbia and Montenegro.
