Serb Mayors call on Kosovo and Serbia to establish Association/Community (RTKLive)
The Mayors of ten Serb-majority Municipalities in Kosovo sent a request to the Governments of Kosovo and Serbia that at the next meeting in Brussels to reach agreement on the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-majority Municipalities. The Serb-majority Municipalities through a statement, have asked the representatives of both governments to hold consultative meetings before the dialogue scheduled for 25 August. They also required that the responsible institutions use all their capacities to release on bail Oliver Ivanovic, who is being accused for crimes against Albanians. The request was signed by Goran Rakic, Mayor of Mitrovica North, Dragan Jablanoviq, Mayor of Leposavic, Vucine Jankovic, Mayor of Zvecan, Stevan Vulovic, Mayor of Zubin Potok, Vladeta Kostic, Mayor of Gracanica, Branislav Nikolic, Mayor of Strpce, Dragan Nikolic, Mayor of Partes, Srecko Spasic, Mayor of Klokot, Gradimir Mikic, Mayor of Ranilug and Svetislav Ivanovic, Mayor of Novo Brdo.
