Kosovo government condemns violent acts at the Assembly (Koha)
The government of the Republic of Kosovo issued a press release condemning the violent acts conducted today by opposition MPs at the session of the Assembly, where the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, was briefing MPs and citizens of the Republic of Kosovo regarding the agreements reached in Brussels. “The Government of the Republic of Kosovo considers that everyone has an obligation to refrain from acts of violence and to avoid actions that exceed the democratic opposition format which harm the interests of the Republic of Kosovo. The Government of the Republic of Kosovo invites the Assembly to create normal working conditions, in order to continue today without interruption the sessions of the Assembly and the citizens of Kosovo to be informed in detail about the content of the agreements reached. Government of the republic of Kosovo ensures the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo that the agreements reached in Brussels are in full accordance with the laws and Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and considers that will be open the path towards Euro-Atlantic integration of the country, and that are strongly supported by strategic partners of Kosovo, USA and EU,” the press release said.
