Excavations in Raska should not take place without the Kosovo side’s presence (Kosovapress)
The Serbian authorities’ decision to resume excavations works in the location of Raska in Serbia in search of human remains of Albanians missing since the 1998-99 conflict without the notification of the Kosovo authorities has led to the reaction of the Kosovo Government’s Commission for Missing Persons which called the action a provocation. Representatives of the Commission consider they should be present at the excavations while the head of the forensics department in Pristina, Arsim Gerxhaliu, said there will be an ad-hoc meeting today with the Serbian side where Kosovo representatives will ask to be present during the excavations at the suspected mass grave site.
