Tapped conversations show Kosovo is controlled by the underground (Insajderi)

The investigative website Insajderi claims to possess more than a thousand telephone conversations of Adem Grabovci, head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) parliamentary group, recorded in 2011 which reportedly show him as the person in charge of party’s illegal activities. According to Insajderi, Grabovci’s phone was tapped by EULEX as part of investigations into his activity while deputy minister of transport. Insajderi claims the conversations prove that Grabovci controls hiring of people to a number of Kosovo independent agencies, including the Kosovo Police, and even cancelling vacancy announcements when not pleased with results. He answers only to two people in his party: PDK leader Kadri Veseli and President of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi. Insajderi said it plans to publish selected conversations over the coming days.
