Abrashi: Demarcation to return to Assembly soon (Klan Kosova)

Kosovo’s Minister of labor and Social Welfare and spokesperson for the government, Arban Abrashi, told Klan Kosova on Thursday that the withdrawal of demarcation deal from the agenda of the Assembly was the most rational choice, given the situation. “It has been a pragmatic and rational step, since a number of MPs were blackmailed and there was public incentive for the citizens. The opposition is sending signals to the world that we have problems with Montenegro,” Abrashi said. According to him, protesters outside the Assembly where another reason to withdraw the deal. "There were less than 400 protesters outside the Assembly. I do not believe that they achieved their goal. We will continue with the European agenda. In record time we will resend the agreement to the Assembly. This time begins next week,” he added.  Abrashi stated among the reasons for withdrawing the agreement was also the unwillingness of the Serbian List to be part of the session.  “I believe that in the coming days we will contact them and learn their reasons for not participating in the session of the Assembly,” he said.
