Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri informed through a press release that the parties will not discuss the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities during the new round of the discussions with Serbia which will be held in Brussels tomorrow and a day after.
The parties will discuss justice issues and Kosovo’s telephone prefix. Both parties will also report on the achieved progress in fulfillment of the obligations for implementation of these two agreements.
Minister Tahiri has traveled today in Brussels to meet representatives of the European Union in order to assess the flow and results of the dialogue for this year, as well as to determine dynamics for the conclusion of the implementing process of the agreement on justice and telephone code, being that 15 December is set as the date for Kosovo’s obtaining its prefix by the ITU.
“The Association issue will not be discussed during this round of discussions, and as I we already informed you, it was not discussed during the previous rounds either. We inform you that the launched news by the other party for alleged discussions on the issue, are incorrect,” notes the press release.
Tahiri said that this is the first time in her life that she has broken the family tradition of celebrating the National Flag Day and decided to work instead. She added that she is doing so due to the request of the EU representatives to respect the agenda, and conveyed her cordial greetings for all Albanians, wherever they are.
