Deputy President of the Assembly of Kosovo, Xhavit Haliti, considers that the request of the leaders of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) to enlighten the fate of the killed after the war is rightful; however, he added that this should not be used for the electoral campaign.

He numbered four reasons why the enlightenment of the political murders should be enlightened in Kosovo. “First of all, we have built specialized institutions of all fields; Second, the Ministry of the Internal Affairs is led by the LDK; third, the prosecution is completely independent to act on the matter; And the fourth, I think that it is necessary for these murders to be enlightened, but not used for election campaigns, instead specialized bodies should act with greatest intensity. They should not save anyone, to enlighten any murder and any crime that occurred in Kosovo,” Haliti said. “I think that murders of journalists, citizens and all the murders that happened here, including Serbia’s crimes, should also be enlightened,” Haliti said.
