Vetevendosje’s Glauk Konjufca said during today’s constitutive session of the Assembly that PAN is intentionally boycotting the sessions because it does not have enough votes to elect speaker. “They don’t have the numbers. They don’t want to be in the opposition. We are tired of hearing them say they’re election winners and have the votes. If these are true then why is PAN not in the Assembly”, Konjufca said.

“The rules of democracy say that when you don’t have the votes you should make a compromise. The compromise we are seeking is to not put forward a candidate that is unacceptable to the majority”, Konjufca said.
