Hoti calls on parties to join LDK in preserving friendship with U.S. (Telegrafi)
Avdullah Hoti, head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) parliamentary group, has called Kosovo’s institutional leaders to demonstrate greater political maturity and not “experiment” and “undermine” relations with countries that helped Kosovo realize the dream for freedom and independence. In a Facebook post, Hoti wrote: “We have to show to our allies that we do not fear the international justice and in fact insist on this court being more efficient so that Kosovo frees itself from any allegation.” Hoti added that the U.S. State Department was very clear in its recent statement and that he also expects all political parties to reflect and “join LDK in preserving friendship with the U.S.”
