Dacic and Henshaw about refugees (IRS)

First deputy prime minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration Simon Henshaw have assessed in Belgrade that there is good cooperation between the two countries in solving the long lasting displacement in Serbia. Henshaw has confirmed the strong support of the USA to the regional process for the lasting solution for refugees and the realization of the regional housing program, and added that the USA will keep on donating the assets for this program on the annual level. Dacic pointed to the enduring large number of refugees from the region and internally displaced people from Kosmet. Even after 15 years the conditions for the sustainable return of the internally displaced have not been created in Kosmet, and to this day less that 5% of them have gone back, Dacic specified. He thanked for the commitment of the USA to the solving of the refugee problem in the region and for donating additional 10 million dollars for the realization of the regional housing program.
