A couple of words about Isa and Hashim (Gazeta Blic)
Editor-in-chief of the news website, Adrian Collaku, says that the agreement formalised last night between leaders of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Hashim Thaci and Isa Mustafa, but actually agreed upon last week in Berlin, would be a surprise if it had happened a month ago but at this stage, such a development was expected. Despite this, a part of LDK staunch supporters have still been shocked by Mustafa’s move to join PDK. “Mustafa turned out to be an unpredictable player. Just as he had done when he came to lead LDK by using the momentum, he did the same this time”, writes Collaku recalling Mustafa’s statements that there was no way on earth he would enter a coalition with PDK. Collaku states that Mustafa has only thought of himself and not the party as a whole because the decision to enter a coalition government with PDK will lead LDK to destruction and voters will not forgive him for this. As for the way Kosovo will be governed by the two parties, Collaku says he doesn’t even want to get into the subject because it is certain that there will be no economic revival, no quality increase in education, health. This, he says, is because PDK and SHIK will be key players in the government even if Mustafa becomes prime minister. At the same time, Thaci, apart from turning over the situation to his advantage, managed to break the post-election coalition bloc. He may even ‘burn’ Mustafa by not giving him the post of prime minister, concludes Collaku.
