German Chancellor, Angela Merkel confirmed she spoke over the phone with USA President Donald Trump and one of the topics discussed was resolving the problem between Belgrade and Pristina, TV N1 reported.

According to TV N1, Merkel said that existing territories are a value and it should be taken into consideration that certain solutions do not cause consequences in other countries.

Following the meeting with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic in Berlin, Chancellor Merkel confirmed she spoke about Kosovo with USA President Trump, respectively she said they spoke about the situation between Serbia and Kosovo.

“We support all the talks that lead to the aim – resolution of that issue, but we are saying that, of course territorial unity as it was created now is a value. And I also said the same when representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro were here, we must be prudent that moves in one territory do not bring to the moves in other territories,” Merkel said, TV N1 reported.
