Director of Mitrovica North Health Centre Milan Ivanovic told RTS Pristina’s threats can not scare Serbs in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, and he expects the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic would nevertheless visit Kosovo. Speaking for the RTS morning news edition, Ivanovic said Kadri Veseli with his statements, tries to show that he controls the situation in the entire Kosovo and Metohija, including the north, adding that Veseli also tries to cause problems and destabilization. He recalled the President Vucic enjoys the highest support among the citizens in the north, and that he has a mandate, right and obligation to resolve the Kosovo issue and to come here in order to resolve problems citizens have, strengthen Serbian institutions and offer a solution that would be realistic, pragmatic and in the interest of all, RTS reported. Meanwhile, Srpska Lista Deputy Chair, Igor Simir said that Albanians always, in the eve of major events, create tensions aiming to provoke reactions of Serbs. “Whenever some agreements or negotiations are announced, and this lasts for decades, Albanians create tensions by either attacking the Serbs in the south or threatening. This time they do it in a wrong moment and towards a wrong person” Simic told Tanjug news agency, adding that preparation for the visit are underway and they eagerly expect Vucic’s address. Director of a public company for water supply, production and distribution of electricity “Ibar” that runs Gazivode lake, Srdjan Vulovic told Tanjug news agency they are getting ready for the visit of the Serbian President, although it remains uncertain for the time being. Vulovic added the situation around Gazivode lake is regular, there are no soldiers or Kosovo police members present, there is nothing out of the ordinary.
