Dacic: First arrests for crimes in Kosovo and Metohija expected (Tanjug, Prva TV)
Entire floor at Scheveningen prison is getting empty, and it is about at least 12 prison cells, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said, adding these cells would be used for the needs of the Special Court for KLA crimes, Serbian media report.
“This is an exclusive news from Scheveningen, it is checked 100 percent. It means the Court starts working and the first arrests are expected,” Dacic told Prva TV.
Asked if he expects Kosovo President Hashim Thaci “to move” to Scheveningen, given his “shaken position” and dissatisfaction against him in Pristina where protesters on Saturday accused him of “selling Kosovo,” Dacic replied “he does not speak about Thaci only, but about most of them.”
“Whether Thaci would be the one, or somebody else, it does not matter. The Court starts working and they are asking the cells to be vacated. They are certainly not requesting the cells in order to paint the walls there,” Dacic underlined.
