SLS demands annulment of the decision on allocation of land to Kosovo Polje (KIM radio)
Members of the Independent Liberal Party (SLS) in the Gracanica Municipal Assembly demand the annulment of the recently adopted decision on the organization of cadastral lines between the municipalities of Gracanica and Kosovo Polje in the cadastral zones of the Preoce and Ugljare village, reports KIM radio.
Members of the SLS, however, voted against this decision, but it was adopted by the majority of the other members of the Municipal Assembly of Gracanica.
The decision, adopted today by the Municipality of Kosovo Polje, stipulates that the Municipality of Gracanica will allocate more than one hundred hectares of land to the neighboring municipality. On this territory there is also the Marigona settlement.
"SLS demands that this foggy and atypical decision to be annulled, and we insist on the transparency and formalization of the request," reads the statement of the SLS sent to media.
SLS reminds that the municipal councilors of Gračanica Municipal Assembly adopted the proposal of Mayor Srdjan Popović on "demarcation" between municipalities, however, today after the session in the Kosovo Polje Municipal Assembly, the Kosovo Polje municipality, Burim Berisha, stated that the request was initiated by the citizens of their municipality .
"The request for the initiation of the initiative to change the border lines is still unclear, as none of the municipalities has disclosed the request to citizens, mentioned in the statements of both actors in this process."
