US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs George Kent told Belgrade-based daily Danas that the United States will continue to support Serbian and Kosovo President Aleksandar Vucic and Hashim Thaci to reach an agreement.

- I think we will continue to support the leaders of Serbia and Kosovo to reach an agreement. It is very important that both Serbian and Kosovo leader go through all the topics together," Kent said in a Skype interview with a group of international journalists visiting the OSCE Mission to Kiev.

He added that the principles of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) are based on territorial integrity and sovereignty.

- We see that there are still unresolved problems from the conflict that are the result of the aggressive actions of the former Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic, not only against Kosovo, but also against Bosnia and Herzegovina - said Kent.
