“Silvana’s destiny more important than mayor’s resignation” (Radio KIM)
Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP) municipal councilor Marko Jaksic did not take part in today’s extraordinary session of Mitrovica North, because he is waiting for an end of Silvana Arsovic’s hearing at the police, Radio KIM reports.
The prosecutor started her interrogation at 10.00 this morning, and previously she was sent to 48-hour detention over alleged aid in committing criminal act of a grave murder.
“We are waiting to see what will happen. Her destiny is more important than any political decision, including the resignation of a mayor,” Jaksic briefly said, Radio KIM reports.
Ksenija Bozovic, deputy leader of GI SDP also did not take part in today’s Mitrovica North extraordinary municipal session.
Bozovic also said that Oliver had the highest trust in Silvana, and asked “if a person who was his right hand for more than 15 years can be suspected of involvement in his murder?”
“This is horrible and shameful. She is a single mother who is now the most worried about her underage child. All her rights are endangered. She still did not recover from Oliver’s murder, because she was the one who found him dead in front of the office premises.”
Bozovic added that the arrest of Silvana Arsovic leaves impression this is “a political game.”
“Unfortunately, by this act, this arrest of Oliver’s secretary, I have started to doubt this is a political game, as the murder was political. It is unfortunate that they play with human lives and do not think about these persons or members of their families. This is yet another stressful event for us. I am afraid, as I have told from the beginning, this is a political game, and killers of Oliver Ivanovic will never be found,” Bozovic said.
Meanwhile, Arsovic’s lawyer, Dobrica Lazic said that in her case there are no material evidences only gossips involved, KIM Radio reported.
