Tahiri: UNMIK does not depend upon Kosovo (FoNet, Danas, RTK2)
Kosovo analyst Ramush Tahiri said UNMIK in Kosovo has completed most part of its mission, both in the terms of time and functions, however, no state can prohibit work and engagement of this mission, FoNet news agency reports.
“The statement is as it is, but to tell the communication with UNMIK is cut, it is unattainable. UNMIK writes reports to the United Nations every third month or every month, and these are credible reports that are being discussed about,” Tahiri added.
He also noted that tariffs, mentioned in the UN Secretary General report, are not popular but unilateral measure, RTK2 reported. “They are not popular, and until now nobody either accepted or supported them. It is not a measure that can bring good among the states,” Tahiri said, adding that UNMIK report saying tariffs did not contribute to calming the relations, but rather agitating it, reflects the current situation.
