Serbian opposition holds meetings in Berlin, won’t reveal details (BETA, TV N1)
Serbian opposition Alliance for Serbia (SzS) leaders continued to broaden their international contacts, saying on Thursday they had meetings in the German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s cabinet and the Foreign Ministry, but fell short of giving any details from the talks, BETA news agency reported.
Peoples’ Party leader and Chairman of Alliance for Serbia, Vuk Jeremic, one of the Alliance’s founders Dragan Djilas and Serbian Leftist leader Borko Stefanovic took part in the meetings in Berlin.
Jeremic, earlier this month said in Brussels that nothing would be the same since the international community now has an unavoidable and legitimate interlocutor in the Alliance. The Alliance for Serbia became a player in Serbia and abroad, he noted, following the opposition consent on the “Agreement with the People” which came out of the anti-government protests held across Serbia.
