Vucic reacts to Quint statement on elections in northern Kosovo (Tanjug, B92)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he is surprised by the Quint statement following mayoral elections in the four northern Kosovo municipalities, Tanjug news agency reports today. He added the only conclusion from that statement would be that some were displeased the elections were completed in peace and order. “I want to congratulate them for their inventiveness. In my life I have not read anything more stupid,” Vucic told journalists in Novi Sad, commenting on the statement. He went on saying that Quint members sent their observers to the north in order to find some irregularities or mistakes they would accuse Serbs for, but managed to find nothing and that is why in their statement they had to say there was pressure in 2017 elections. “Does it make any sense?” Vucic asked, adding it indicates how much some were displeased elections were completed in peace and order. He also spoke about upcoming meeting with Srpska Lista representatives, scheduled to take place this Friday saying he would first listen to what they have to say and then openly discuss with them and tell what he thinks about everything.
