Team TV Prva and Gracanica Online yesterday were denied entry to Gazimestan (gracanicaonline.info)

Kosovo police yesterday did not allow entry into the memorial complex on Gazimestan to correspondents of the Belgrade based TV Prva and editor-in-chief of Gracanica Online portal, Andjelka Cup and Nikola Milosavljevic, reports portal gracanicaonline.info.

"We have properly shown the ID cards at the gate of the complex on Gazimestan, to which the police officer told us that she needs to ask commanding officer. She saw my paper in my hand, or my reminder of what was supposed to be made. She took the paper and said that her commander must see what I'm going to say. After two minutes she went out and said that I cannot come in, because I'm reporting politically. I asked the written explanation, which I did not get," said Andjelka Cup, adding that the police did not want to present themselves and give the numbers of their badges.

Gracanica Online portal recalls that in Gazimestan there is no sign that it is prohibited to shoot or take photographs. The Gracanica Online portal strongly protests and seeks the reaction of the Kosovo police, as well as associations of journalists.
