Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic condemned the threats TV N1 Kosovo correspondent Zana Cimili received on social networks in Serbian, saying they were heinous and impermissible, TV N1 reported.

Cimili received severe menace on social networks against her and her family’s physical integrity, BETA news agency reported late on Thursday.

“The heinous threats to N1 journalist Zana Cimili are impermissible and deserve condemnation. It’s difficult to imagine that in the 21st century someone can threaten to anyone without being punished,” Brnabic said from Poznań where she attended the Western Balkans Summit.

She added she expected the respective institutions to react as soon as possible and find out who is behind these threats and sanction them appropriately.
