Vucic with Botsan-Kharachenko: I do not expect swift continuation of Belgrade-Pristina dialogue (N1)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharachenko and said he does not expect a swift continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, N1 reports. On the other hand, Ambassador Botsan-Kharachenko said Russia is ready to contribute to the resolution of the Kosovo issue within the international law. President Vucic further noted Serbia advocates for a true compromise in resolving the Kosovo issue, however, soon continuation of the dialogue cannot be expected, given the tariffs on the goods from central Serbia and the situation at Pristina’s political scene. Ambassador Botsan-Kharachenko underlined that Kosovo issue is of a major importance for the stability of the region and that Russia, as permanent UN SC member is ready to contribute to the solution within the international law. The two officials further agreed that the signing of the free trade agreement between Serbian and Eurasia, expected to happen on October 25, would give a new quality to the future cooperation. The agreement stipulates the free flow of goods, services and labour force as well as it would enable access to Serbia to the market of 180 million customers.
