Djuric: The elections in Kosovo are important for preserving Serbia's influence in Kosovo (TV Pink, TV Most, Blic)
Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric told TV Pink on Sunday that October 6th elections are essential important for Serbs and important for preserving ‘’Serbia’s influence in the province’’ and called all the Serbs to use their voice and be united.
‘’The Serbian List is a state project of Serbia,’’ Djuric said, adding that if they win all ten mandates, the provincial government could not be formed without the Serbs being asked, without the influence of the Serbian community that makes own decisions together with Belgrade.
He explained that the government could not be formed without Serb representatives, and added that Albanian politicians and the part of the international community were “trying in different ways to push some of their Serbs,” who are, as he said (Serbs) “only by their first and last name”.
He says, the fewer Serbs vote, less votes they will need for two or three of their own "Serb MPs," people like Nenad Rasic or Rada Trajkovic, who say they support an independent Kosovo.
“I think that our people are informed and that everything is clear to them when they hear that Kurti is supporting them,” Djuric said.
