Kurz to Tanjug: Austria will support the correction of borders (Serbian media)

Austria will support all the solutions agreed in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, including border correction, Sebastian Kurz told Belgrade based news agency Tanjug.

"Our position is clear: we support everything that the parties agree on, as well as possible border adjustments, if that ultimately leads to a comprehensive solution that would bring more stability. The goal must be to resolve all outstanding issues by agreement in the dialogue," Kurz explained.

He stresses the importance of relaunching Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and resolving all outstanding issues at the negotiating table.

"A new dynamic is needed because a dialogue solution is a precondition for a later EU accession," Kurz said.

Asked if the EU, in general, has the strength to resolve the Kosovo issue and whether it has an impact on Pristina, which has not responded to Brussels' appeal to abolish taxes, he said the EU has diverse options to act and does so constantly but added that in the end, "there is a need for a political desire for a compromise in Belgrade and Pristina."
