Regional police directorate Mitrovica North announced increased security measures before, during and after the football match of the Serbia’s Cup between Trepča from North Mitrovica and Vojvodina from Novi Sad which will take place today in Zvečan/Zveçan.

Regional Kosovo police commander for northern Kosovo Željko Bojić said that incidents are not expected, however police will be vigilant, whereas a rapid response unit will be on standby.

Around 3,500 supporters are expected to attend the football match of the Serbia’s Cup 1/16 final which will start at 16:00.
