Director of the Serbian Government Media Relations Office, Milivoje Mihajlovic said that Serbs supported the election of Isa Mustafa for President of the Assembly primarily to prevent irregularities and delays in the formation of the parliament. 

Milivoje Mihajlovic assessed the action as a democratic move of the Serbian List, and on the other hand demonstration of the power of Serbian MPs in the Kosovo Assembly. "A few months ago we talked about the fact that the Serbs will be a key factor in the formation of the Kosovo government. Now, that became a true," said Mihajlovic. 

Mihajlovic said that nine members of the Serbian List can seriously impact on who will rule in Kosovo, and above all how it will be ruled in Kosovo, emphasizing their influence on the protection of Serbian interests and survival of the Serbs. "The team of nine MPs will actually contribute significantly on improving the position of the Serbs in Kosovo," said Mihajlovic.
