KFOR and EULEX should do their job (Vesti online)
Serbian Minister of Internal Affairs, Nebojsa Stefanovic said that the invasion of Albanian timber thieves across the administrative border with Serbia and murder of Serbian member of Gendarmerie prove that KFOR and EULEX are not doing their job.
"We requested an urgent meeting, and I expect a response about the time of the meeting. The only thing we request from KFOR and EULEX is to fulfil their obligations under Kumanovo agreement and UN Resolution 1244, and that is to do their part of duties, in their part of the Ground safety zone," said Stefanovic.
Stefanovic said for the portal "Telegraph" that this is not the first case of intrusion of timber thieves, which are armed with automatic rifles. Similar attack took place in 2011. "This proves that KFOR and EULEX are not doing their job. Therefore, we ask from them to seriously address these problems and to discover the murderer of the member of Gendarmerie, Stevan Sinđelić," said Stefanovic.
He said that Serbia expects that people living in its territory could peacefully coexist, to have freedom of movement instead of living under the constant threat from terrorists. "Whether someone enter your territory and kill your soldier, policeman, or someone illegally cut your forest, it is an act of terrorism," said Stefanovic.
