Serbian and Kosovo female entrepreneurs against the prejudices (RTS,Tanjug)
A conference over cooperation between Serbian and Kosovo female entrepreneurs is taking place today in Belgrade. Conference has the goal to support economic cooperation between Serbia and Kosovo and to eliminate prejudices, said Serbian Deputy Prime Minister, Zorana Mihajlovic, and director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić.
Mihajlovic said that it is about good and interesting conference which is supposed to contribute to better life in Balkans, and added that Serbia should help women entrepreneurs in Kosovo, carried Tanjug agency.
Djuric said that “relations between Belgrade and Pristina should not be only political, but profitable and lucrative as well”. “In that sense, what is taking place today is very good. We gathered today to eliminate prejudices,” said Djuric and added that the goal of the conference is to connect female entrepreneurs aiming at making profit, because it is probably females on both sides, Serbian and Albanian, who took the biggest burden on their shoulders in the time of the past conflict.
Conference dubbed “Opportunities and challenges in implementation of the economic cooperation between Serbian and Kosovo female entrepreneurs – Female entrepreneurs as leaders in changes’, is organized by NGOs ‘Transkoflict’ and ‘Democracy for development’, with the support of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Embassy of the Great Britain.
