EU has "six more conditions" for Serbia (Blic, B92)
The agreement on the judiciary reached earlier this week "is not enough to open chapter 35 on Kosovo" in Serbia's membership negotiations with the EU, writes Blic. According to the newspaper, there are "at least six more obligations stemming from the Brussels agreement which so far have not been met."
Citing "diplomatic sources," the article adds that it is "necessary to reach an agreement on a community of Serb municipalities, on a telephone code for Kosovo, discuss energy, that is, EPS and Lake Gazivode, as well as permanent border crossings and reach an agreement on the civil defence in the north and the opening of the bridge over the Ibar in (Kosovska) Mitrovica."
Germany insists that the first chapter in the negotiations between Serbia and the EU should be chapter 35 dedicated to Kosovo. The daily writes that a condition for the opening of this chapter is the full implementation of the Brussels agreement.
