Srpska calls for adoption of special court bill (KiM Radio)

The Srpska List called on Albanian leaders in Kosovo-Metohija and representatives of the Kosovo government and parliament to pass a bill setting up a court that would try war crimes committed by the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). The Srpska List noted that the attacks targeting Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija are well-organized, and aimed at intimidating the remaining Serb population, and presenting prominent Serbs as “bloodthirsty criminals” so as to make the Serb people in the province powerless. All this is going on along with the seizure of the property of Serbia and the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) in Kosovo-Metohija through the unlawful privatization program, says the Srpska List in the release signed by its leader Aleksandar Jablanovic. It notes that for the crimes in Kosovo-Metohija, Serbia punished all its citizens who broke the law or contravened the Geneva Convention. “Unfortunately, the crimes against Serbs were neither investigated nor criminals punished, so the Srpska List calls on Albanian leaders and the interim government and parliament in Pristina to pass the bill on the special court that would rule on KLA crimes,” reads the release. This would contribute to reconciliation between Serbs and Albanians, the Srpska list says.
